Starlink installation across Broadstone
We serve Broadstone from our base in Poole.
What happens on the day
Every visit focuses on achieving an unobstructed sky line for the dish, securing the hardware against bad weather, and completing all necessary electrical connections.
- Sky line inspectionWe inspect the roof line and external brickwork to pick an elevated mounting position free from surrounding obstructions, making sure the receiver has an uninterrupted viewing angle across the open sky.
- Hardware mounting and cable entryThe dish is anchored using solid fixing brackets matched to the building surface. The outdoor cable is clipped securely along external walls and brought inside through a sealed, weatherproof entry point.
- Power feed connectionWe install a fused spur or run a dedicated electrical circuit directly from your consumer unit, giving the indoor base unit a steady, permanent power supply without overloading existing socket circuits.
- Power testing and system checkOnce the wiring is complete, we switch on the hardware to verify that the dish moves freely, establishes satellite communication, and feeds live internet through to your indoor router.

Do you provide the Starlink equipment?
No. You must order the dish, indoor router, and primary cable pack directly from Starlink. We provide the mounting brackets, exterior fixings, cabling clips, and electrical power supplies needed to complete the installation.
Does the installation include a new electrical socket?
Yes, where required. If there is no existing socket near your chosen router position, we can install a dedicated fused spur or new power circuit taken from your consumer unit, fully certificated under our NAPIT registration.
Can you install Starlink on commercial properties in Broadstone?
Yes. We fit dishes on offices, shops, and light industrial units, running data cables securely into communications cabinets, plant rooms, or dedicated office spaces.
Do I need planning permission for a satellite dish?
Most standard residential homes do not require planning permission because satellite antennas fall under permitted development rights. However, listed buildings or properties located in strict conservation zones may require formal consent.
What factors can change the installation price?
The overall price is influenced by the height and accessibility of the mounting position, the length of the external cable run, and whether your installation requires a new electrical circuit added at the fuse board.
