Yes. We can install pendants, downlights, chandeliers and outdoor lights that you have sourced yourself, provided the fittings are undamaged and compliant with UK electrical safety standards. We will inspect the unit on arrival before wiring it into your circuit.
Do I need a new circuit when adding downlights to a room?
In most cases, downlights can be connected to the existing lighting circuit if the total electrical load allows and the existing wiring is in sound condition. If the current circuit is overloaded or deteriorating, we will explain the options for running a fresh cable from your consumer unit.
Will you provide a certificate after installing new lights?
Yes. Minor works certificates or full electrical installation certificates are issued depending on the nature of the work. If the project involves adding a brand new circuit, the work is notified through NAPIT, and you will receive the appropriate certification.
