Sockets, lighting, cookers and smoke alarms start from £70 an hour. A single pendant swap is usually a short visit. A new kitchen run or a set of downlights takes longer and the total follows the hours on site.
Can you replace a light fitting without rewiring the house?
Yes, when the existing circuit is sound. We change the fitting and the flex, then test the circuit. If the cable is damaged or undersized we say so before we go further.
Do you fit outdoor lights?
We fit outdoor lights where a suitable circuit can be run or reused, including porch, garden and yard fittings for houses in Broadstone, Wareham and Christchurch.
Will I get a certificate after lighting work?
Yes. Notifiable work is certified. Smaller like for like swaps still get a written record of what we fitted and the test we carried out.
Do you work in shops as well as homes?
